How can I help?
Volunteering with Daws Hall Trust
Below is some information about the different areas of volunteering with Daws Hall Trust. If you're interested in giving some of your time, click the "volunteer" button at the end to complete a short contact form. Thank you!

Open Days
Across the seasons we welcome members of the public for a number of Open Days and events. We are always looking for volunteers to help with car parking, welcoming visitors, serving at the pop-up cafe or supporting children's activities.
We try to arrange volunteers into "slots" and this is normally between 1-2 hours.

Everything else!
Daws Hall Trust is a very small charity and if you have a profession, can bake a cake, have a truck, some spare wellies or just a couple of hours in your month spare - we'd love to hear from you!
Conservation Work
With a small site team, extra hands are invaluable. Typical projects could include coppicing, clearing overgrown paths, maintaining or building structures or planting trees. Most tasks only take a morning or afternoon and if nothing else, it's a glorious place for a coffee break.

Fundraising and Governance
As a charitable Trust, we have a group of volunteer Trustees who oversee the governance and strategic running of the charity. If you have a professional background, experience as a Trustee, or experience with fundraising for charities we'd love to hear from you.
