Friends of Daws Hall

Please support us by becoming a Friend of Daws Hall

Thirty years ago the Trust was formed with a well-equipped schoolroom and a twenty five acre nature reserve, offering a superb environmental education centre and wildlife reserve for children and adults.

Our experienced and enthusiastic team cater for all groups from pre-school through to higher education students, and offer a varied programme of activities to suit the needs of the group, whatever the season. Our specialised environmental education activities include small mammal observation, honeybee observation, sampling of soil and freshwater, mapping and field hides, forest schools, and river studies, to name but a few. To date over 100,000 schoolchildren and adults have benefitted from visits and we hope to inspire many more in the future.

In order to fund the current and potentially broader education platform so that the next generation of children and adults can benefit, we are forming Friends of Daws Hall.

Despite the income that we receive from grant-giving trusts and a few private individuals, we are currently running at a loss. This is why we need your support.

With your help Daws Hall Trust will continue to be able to provide educational resources for many years to come.
