Wild and Crafty Wednesday (30th Oct)

Half-term fun for families: ​In the morning we will look for minibeasts on land and by pond/river dipping and make a bat kite.

After a break for a picnic on the green (weather permitting) the afternoon will involve some outdoor crafts, smelly potion making and campfire cooking.

10.30am - 2.30pm

Children must be accompanied. £7.50 per child.

Accompanying adults free.

Halloween wildlife evening - family event

An event aimed at families with young children up to 12years with our new Education Officer, Neil Phillips. We will look and talk about some spooky animals, and see why they are not really that scary after all! Make some lovely lanterns in our education centre to take out into the dark. Followed by a walk to see and/or hear some nocturnal wildlife using bat detectors!

£5 per participant.

5.30 - 7.30pm

All places must be booked in advance.

Festive Family Day

Join us at Daws Hall Nature Reserve for a magical trail in the woods,

natural crafts, winter wildlife, campfire time and

decorative den building!

10.30 - 12.30, £5 per child, grown-ups go free!

Recommended for ages 2 and up. All children must be accompanied.

Places must be booked in advance by Thursday 12th December.

Exploring, mini-beast hunting, using real tools, getting creative with mud - a wild way for parents and their toddlers/babies to spend their weekdays!
